It Is all in the word

Hello Everyone,

Many people need to be aware of the valuable information in the scriptures. There are answers to many of the questions we have about daily living. Questions such as:

How do I know God’s voice?

How do I know God loves me?

How can I recognize false teachers?

What is my God-given purpose?

What steps do I need to take to experience healing in my life?

How do I know I have been forgiven for past sins?

What does the Lord say about depression?

Why aren’t my prayers being answered?

Do my dreams mean something?

What should I focus on this season?

Do any of these questions seem familiar? These are just a few thoughts that many individuals desire to receive answers to. Knowing what the word says about our daily lives is extremely important. Understanding the Holy Scriptures provides the believer in Christ with a safe mandate that produces good fruit if followed.

Now more than ever, a believer in Christ must know how to search out the scriptures to ensure that their daily interactions and decisions lead to “good success.” Noah Webster’s 1828 dictionary provides several definitions for the word good. One of his definitions is “Having moral qualities best adapted to its design and use1.” He defines success as “the favorable or prosperous termination of anything attempted2.”  To put the definition in relatable terms, I would define “good success” as a demonstration of moral qualities used for appropriate tasks, producing favorable and prosperous results. A scripture reference also supports this outcome when we utilize the Bible as our guide.

Joshua 1:8 (AMPC)

This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.
